Wildfire preparedness and response are at their best when we all play our part. Fire professionals and first responders are ready to do their part this wildfire season, but your actions today can support their efforts in the future. By completing FireSmart tasks around your property, you’re doing your part to reduce the risks surrounding your home and strengthen your community’s resilience. Every step, no matter how small, can be the difference when it’s needed most.

Zoning and Building Bylaws:
All bylaws regarding planning and development from the Rural Municipality of North Qu'Appelle are still in effect in the Resort Village. These include the Official Community Plan, and Zoning and Building bylaws. Over the next two years, the Resort Village will begin the process to adopt our own bylaws. This will be a time consuming undertaking and will require input from residents and ratepayers. Ample notice of meetings and introductions of bylaws will be provided on the website and in emails.
Until our new bylaws are adopted by our council and approved by the Ministry of Government Relations, the zoning and building bylaws and permit applications of the RM will be our guiding documents. Applications and permit approvals, however, will be handled through the Resort Village office.

SARCAN depots are now accepting flexible plastics, foam packaging, and non-deposit glass for recycling.
Below are a list of some of the items that can be recycled when they are brought to the SARCAN depot. They should not be recycled through the blue bins collections.
Recycling saves money. The more items that are recycled and kept out of the landfill, the lower the landfill costs to the Resort Village.
For more information, https://sarcan.ca/how-to-sarcan/what-to-recycle/

The Pasqua Lake Little Library has been relocated to the west recycling area in Bolingbroke. The Library belongs to everyone in our village. How does it work? TAKE A BOOK: If you see something you would like to read, take it! SHARE A BOOK: If you have a book you'd like to pass along, leave it here. Share the love of reading with your community.
